Meet Peg Eackles, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Margaret (Peg) Eackles, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, is a certified clinical audiologist and the director of the Hearing Care Center. She has been with the Hearing Care Center since 1993. Dr. Eackles completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences, Masters of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Pennsylvania State University and her Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University. Prior to joining the Hearing Care Center she worked in both the private and public sector as a clinical audiologist. Dr. Eackles has extensive background in adult and pediatric assessment and amplification. She has made guest appearances on local television to discuss hearing aids and hearing health issues. Dr. Eackles most recently presented in conjunction with G.A.I.T. (University of Maryland Health Professions Students Projects, Geriatric Assessment Interdisciplinary Team) in Williamsport, MD. Students from the professions of nursing, social work, as well as PAs gathered together to discuss the importance of hearing for the healthy aging adult.
Dr. Eackles is active in her local community and enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls.
